Aid and Assist is made possible by a dedicated team of volunteers – and we're hoping to expand!

Volunteer Roles

Donations

Aid and Assist is a volunteer-only organization funded by its founding team and service revenue. Donations support our Borrow a First Aid Kit service and our efforts to develop new services, both of which increase our revenue and therefore our organizational capacity and self-sufficiency. In other words, your donation doesn't just help us today; it ensures our future.

Aid and Assist accepts donations via credit card, debit card, and E-transfer. Please complete the Donations Form to donate to us via credit card or debit card. E-transfer donations can be made by sending funds to executivedirector@aidandassist.ca and adding “Donation” in the message of the E-transfer!

Please note that while Aid and Assist is a registered non-profit, we are not a registered charity, so we are unable to offer a tax receipt for income tax purposes.

Aid and Assist is always open to discussing new opportunities. We are focused on keeping service related costs as low as possible for our clients while expanding the services we offer to the greater Ottawa community, and your partnership or assistance could help us in those goals.
